I'm Kai, a 2D and 3D artist who is exploring game development with Unity and Unreal. My goal is to create games with a relaxed atmosphere that encourage learning through failure, rather than focusing on "winning". I believe in the importance of exploration, learning, and growth through guided trial and error that rewards curiosity.

My personal goals are to develop the necessary skills to create fun and interesting interactive worlds, and to document my progress with game development.


Career History

Since becoming a qualified 2D illustrator and designer in 2009, I have freelanced as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator for fashion and print media. I have also used my skills in photography, image retouching, and 3D modelling for publications and fashion brands, including ad campaigns and print magazines such as Vanity Fair and LDH Apparel. Additionally, I worked with FORSOMEONE on their Final Fantasy VII collaboration with Square Enix. I also create 3D Vtuber characters using Unity.

In 2018, I trained in 3D art at Gnomon art school and Stylized Station's environment art in Unreal courses. Then in 2022, I graduated from the Code Coven Intro to Game Making in Unity program, where I created several games and found my passion for 3D generalist game art.
